QLD Coffee and Papaya: Skybury Farm, Cafe and Roastery

Skybury Cafe and Roastery is one of the top visitor attractions on the Atherton Tablelands

Skybury is Australia’s largest exporter of Arabica coffee and the first Australian grower to export green coffee to Japan, Europe, Canada and the United States. Skybury is also the largest papaya grower in Australia and the fruit is distributed across the Australian eastern seaboard, including Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.

Skybury is a leading grower of Red Papaya, a tropical fruit high in vitamins C and A, as well as fiber and healthy plant compounds. Papayas also contain healthy antioxidants known as carotenoids, and an enzyme called papain used to tenderize meat.
